What are some decent protein bars that aren’t loaded with sugar and don’t taste like dirt goo?

Im eating a met-rx bar right now that’s pretty good but it’s got 28 grams of sugar in it. Don’t understand why corporate America is so hell bent on pumping everybody full of sugar.

I eat more for effect than taste but I’m not opposed to decent tasting protein bars, I just don’t want all that damn sugar.

I just picked up some drinks at the store that have 42 grams of protein and only 6 grams of sugar. Hopefully they’re palatable. Waiting on them to get cold right now.

I like the muscle milk chocolate peanut butter drink 40gs of course they cost 3$ each
This is Joe Biden’s America, ain’t nothing cheap, I just don’t want a bunch of sugar. I’ll check them out. I usually stop at rite aide and they usually only have met rx. I hate shopping once I find good ones I’ll just order a bunch

There's business in sugar keeps you sick. Stop eating protein bars there 90 percent is garbage and hard to digest. Cook your meals. There's a guy on here on nutrition section that creates his own protein bars. If you can afford it try to eat organic expect alot of these organic places are not all real organic. If I had enough money I'd get a farm with tons of land and have everyone on here have a house on it. If you have a taste for sugar have stevia.

I support the idea of making these damn bars myself. Here's my recipe.
Chocolate Bar Recipe
Ingredients:
Chocolate protein powder: 0.13 lb
Apple puree: 0.26 lb
Oat bran: 0.07 lb
Fiber: 0.02 lb
Sugar-free muesli: 0.15 lb
Cocoa: two teaspoons
Chopped dark chocolate: 0.06 lb
Add cinnamon to taste if desired.
Mix all the ingredients into a homogeneous mass and shape them into bars. Then bake the deliciousness for 15-20 minutes.

All good stuff Roca. If we lived closer I'd buy one from you. I wasn't trying to knock you warrior just wish everyone nothing but health. I know what's it like to be on the go or working construction where you may not have time to cook. There's a couple great food pre-made companies are not that bad if you don't have time that will prepare you meals and have it sent to you that are on the healthier side. Sorry if I came off as rude just olm is family to me and wish nothing but the best of health for everyone on here.

there have been days I’ve have eaten 2 a day

sure it might be “junk food” but it’s still 30 grams of protein and can be fuel pre workout or in between real food meals better than nothing if you are hunting gains

30 grams of carbohydrates is not really that much “sugar” if you are on a lean gainer or bulker……

that being said I’d rather eat 2 Greek yogurts with a few TBSP of peanut butter
