Are you considering fusion ?
I have had a lapendectomy with a micro discopy, spelling may be off but I'm sure you can find it. Basically they took half of my L5 vertebrae out and some disc material. That was in 2011. I had a bit of issue right after that required a couple of cortisone shots but after that zero issues at all. They didn't put anything in place and muscle just held things together.
I thought about it should of done years ago. They dont always turn out well I heard but I dont claim to be a expert. I can still do my daily activities of course I would like to do more to make daily activities go better a smoother and do extra activities. I shouldn't be complaining some of you had some crazy injuries though. Testabolin I'm rooting for you man hope the show turns out great I have a good feeling man. Jdub I'm sorry about your injuries.

Just curious if you’ve gone as far as surgical consult and MRI? Pick a good surgeon, it will correlate with outcome. Not all surgeons are created equal.
I talked to a surgeon who doesn't believe in surgery inless its really nessascary he also found a tear in my shoulder and wanted scar tissue to build up around it. Some surgeons I'm sure would jump right in for the money but I trust him. I just would like to do more stuff but as I get older I understand things can be hold off when ortther options are available.

I was recommended spiral fusion in my neck for years and never got it done. I hear mixed things. Surgery seems like a crap shoot so I would guess it depends how much pain you are in
